Hi. My name is Daniel Thomas and I’m going to talk about a world where ‘real’ music is rewarded and money is hard to remove from the tree. This world is very nice and I think I might leave this thought in my head.
I’m going to create a list that ‘I’ think should be awarded in the Brits. Here are my suggestions…you can vote but there’s no point because in this world…democracy isn’t a made up word. Let’s have a look at the list:

// British Female Solo Artist – Rae Morris
When I sit down and drink some fennel tea, I wonder, what does the word ‘talent’ mean any-more. Then Rae Morris entered the room, sat down and sang every word like it was the last day on earth. Wonderful music, great talent (I do love the word – talent). Have a listen to her music below.
// British Group – The Colours
When I heard my fellow friend shout // THE COLOURS // I though he was having a nervous meltdown. In fact, he was stating something quite unique in the music industry today. These guys would probably win the award for ‘best dressed band’ but instead I would give them the award for ‘indie-cindy-winners’.
// British Male Solo Artist - Doug Hayman
You can’t say much about Doug Hayman, he’s that laid back. I would like to mention one subject though. He has a huge amount of talent and I believe he has a great future ahead of him. I’m glad to be handing you this award.
// British Breakthrough Act - EFFLUENCE
These buys are quite and calm but as soon as they enter that stage they fucking rock out with their cocks out, literally. I can see a massive rush for tickets for their gigs now. Check out their music below:
// British Single – Barricade Rise – Nod and Smile
This is one of my favourite unsigned bands at the moment. My girlfriend also loves these guys and she listened to some great music (Misfits, Elvis Costello, Public Image etc). Anyway I picked this track because it’s as beautiful as Zooey Deschanel and that’s why I like it.
// International Male Solo Artist - Abandoned Pools
I recently reviewed this guys work recently and he had heaps of talent. He has that much talent he’s had to share it around at Christmas and birthday times. He deserves all the recognition this year and I hope he gets to where he wants to be.
// International Group – The Dark Lights
These guys…at IMN we love you. Keep up the good work and we’re sure you’ll make it big.
